The light fades gently from the face into shadow, finished as a rich black and white fine-art photograph with true blacks, smooth silver-grey tones, a soft sheen on the coat and fine detail in the eyes, whiskers and markings.
Choose a dramatic head and shoulders study, with the eyes, muzzle and markings in fine detail, or an elegant full-length portrait. No Christmas details, no props: just your own animal, in timeless black and white that suits any room.

Your photo checklist
A great photo helps us capture your horse, dog or cat faithfully.
- Good natural light, taken at your animal's eye level
- Face, eyes and ears clearly visible, with coat colour and markings clear
- Headcollars are absolutely fine. We'll leave the headcollar and lead rope out of the portrait and recreate the face naturally. If you'd like it kept in, choose Keep it on the Photo step. Just avoid fences or people across the face.
- Collars and toys are welcome. By default we keep the collar and any toy as in your photo and leave out leads, harnesses and hands. Prefer them removed? Choose Remove on the Photo step. Just avoid fences or people across the face.
- Rugs, neck covers and dog or cat coats are fine for a head and shoulders portrait. For a whole portrait, use a photo without one, so we never have to guess the coat underneath.
- The original high-resolution file, not a screenshot
- For a whole portrait, show the whole animal. For a head-only photo, choose Head and shoulders.

We create your portrait with the help of AI image tools, in a style designed specially for this collection. Where instant previews are offered, you see and approve a watermarked preview before you order. If you skip the preview, we’ll create it by hand and email it to you when it’s ready.

Your approved portrait is emailed to you straight after payment. Every print and card, including single cards, includes this digital file free.

Printed, framed & delivered
Prints are produced by our print partner, framed if you chose a framed format, and posted to your door. Cards go straight to your recipient.
